OXIDIZING ACID is not a paint, it is a solution used to change the hue of existing concrete (new or old), which must be applied on dry, set concrete.

Oxidizing acid is a liquid solution that is made from metal ions, which, when they come into contact with the calcium hydroxide in cement, produce a chemical reaction between them. This reaction results in a translucent appearance to concrete that is permanent and does not peel or fade over time, and the reaction does not alter the basic properties of concrete such as its hardness, porosity and / or texture. And thanks to this it is that the oxide is of long durability, since it is not a paint film, but a chemical reaction that transforms the color of concrete in its first 2 mm of surface.

Creatively oxidizing concrete to achieve a good appearance can have lower costs than when using carpets, mosaics or ceramics of the different types of quality materials used in decoration. Although it is important to note, that the total cost will depend on the complexity of the specific application, the requirements to prepare the surface and the size of the job.

In addition, it should be noted that it is a very resistant system to both abrasion and UV rays and different environmental factors; That is why it can be used both indoors and outdoors and is ideal for:

-Elements in facades, walls, fountains, sculptures.
-Floors in residences, hotels, offices, restaurants, plazas, warehouses, etc.
– Plates for sinks, kitchens, grills.
-Any surface made of concrete or containing cementitious material.
There are simply no limits to the shape or position of the surface to be oxidized. We also have a wide range of colors.
