Brushed Resurface

Make your old concrete floor look like new without demolishing it!

For many years, the only solution for repairing concrete that was in good condition but had some cracks, stains, or minor damage was to demolish it and rebuild it. In 1986, a new system for concrete repair was developed.

Resurfacer is a white mortar, a coating made from polymers, chemical additives, and cement, that can be spread and stamped onto existing concrete. This coating can be applied 2 to 4 mm thick using a Resurfacer squeegee, followed immediately by a broom to create a brushed texture—fine, medium, or coarse, as desired. It should be applied to any hard surface (porcelain, concrete, marble, ceramic tile, etc.) that does not contain loose or easily removable material.

The purpose of adding a polymer to cement is to greatly increase its strength and versatility, unlike conventional concrete and mortar. Due to their thinness, resurfacing coatings are an excellent option for revitalizing areas where existing concrete is old, damaged, or no longer meets the expectations for which it was designed.

It’s designed for both indoor and outdoor use and can be oxidized for a unique look. It’s also an excellent option for new concrete that hasn’t quite met expectations.

It is ideal for roads, pedestrian walkways, parking lots, garages, paths, and many other places where demolishing existing concrete is undesirable. Due to its special characteristics, it will not crack as it would with conventional concrete; furthermore, it is much more resistant to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, UV rays, and heavy traffic.
