Micro-thin Polishing

Make your old concrete floor look like new without demolishing it!

Pro Microtopping, better known as micro-thinning, is a gray mortar made from polymers, chemical additives and cement, which allows it to be spread and polished over existing concrete.

It was introduced to the market more than 20 years ago with the purpose of adding a polymer to cement that would greatly increase its strength and versatility compared to conventional concretes and mortars.

This product can be used on new or existing concrete. It is installed at a thickness of 2 to 3 mm on any hard surface (porcelain tile, concrete, marble, ceramic tile, etc.) that does not contain loose or easily detachable material. Due to its special characteristics, it will not crack as would occur with conventional concrete, and it is also much more resistant to chemicals, adverse weather conditions, UV rays, and heavy traffic.

Due to its thinness, micro-thin concrete is an excellent option for revitalizing areas where existing concrete is old, damaged, or no longer meets the expectations for which it was created; it is a more cost-effective solution than demolishing the existing floor. It polishes and covers floor imperfections such as cracks, fissures, or chips, achieving a smooth and uniform finish.

It’s designed for both indoor and outdoor use and is ideal for horizontal or vertical surfaces where paint or any other type of coating is present and an exposed concrete finish is desired. Furthermore, being a cement-based product, it can be oxidized to give it a distinctive look.

It can be used for remodeling projects or for industrial floors where demolition of the existing floor is not desired, to raise levels, cut doors or window frames; also for new concrete that has not turned out as required or to carry out some repairs.

We have a wide range of integral colors to add color to your micro-thin.
